Principal's Message

World's worst pandemic!

A nationwide total lockdown!

The Almighty ordained that I take up the responsibility of becoming Principal amidst these unprecedented and extraordinary circumstances. Over night schools were shut and life never went back to pre pandemic days. The digital platform became the new normal and the world of education was not prepared for this.

According to me courage is the hallmark of true leadership. It implies some risk.... especially when doing something new. I enjoy being challenged and know that greater the challenge the better the innovations. I am confident that we will succeed with online classes, e teaching and never compromise in academic content or value based education. My role as Principal is to keep up with the latest trends and research and be an active partner in the schools professional development.

My students are my strength. They inspire and motivate me. I am committed to their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. I am passionate about empowering students to succeed academically, develop critical thinking and problem solving capacity. Life skills are as important as knowledge and I believe this esteemed institution provides the perfect climate for this.

Leadership is not about title, position and power. It is based on inspiration, cooperation and team work. I am an advocate of professional development that encourage teachers to share and follow best practices in teaching.

I am passionate about students being empowered to succeed. As Principal, I use all tools available to inspire staff, students and community to work together to promote student achievement and well-being.

I believe that having quality, inspirational and passionate teachers is essential to a school's success.

To borrow John Hattie's words; "Teachers should build classroom climates where errors are welcome, student engagement is the norm, questioning is high and students gain reputations as effective learners."
